Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Lead, plan, and execute all projects related to innovation and operational improvement within the HCC.
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are achieved.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements using data and analytics.
  • Manage incentivized projects directed by customer leadership teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration at all levels.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Deploy project systems and benchmarks to monitor and improve operational performance.
  • Work with department heads to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
  • Drive corrective action initiatives to address anomalies and ensure operational resilience.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Heathrow Airport Limited (HAL), regulatory authorities, and external auditors.
  • Provide high-quality analytical reporting to senior leadership and customers.
  • Represent the HCC in monthly and quarterly reviews, customer meetings, and audits.

Leadership & Innovation:

  • Coach and mentor teams to reach operational excellence in project management and process control.
  • Support the strategic growth of the HCC by delivering innovative solutions and identifying improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Relevant Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince2 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience managing high-level projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and the use of project management tools (e.g., Visio, MS Project, or similar).
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.

Desirable:

  • Exposure to efficiency improvement principles such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Experience working in regulated environments or unionized settings.
  • Background in logistics, FMCG, or retail industries.
  • Certified internal audit qualification or relevant experience.
